A wee bit about me

Because our stories are important.

I’m a west coast of Scotland boy with a big heart for people and creativity!

I grew up playing violin and forayed into both classical and trad worlds, touring and performing across South Africa, America/Canada and Japan. In my teens I began exploring songwriting, guitar, piano and all things production.

Taking a step of faith,

I moved to Edinburgh, exploring creative prayer and musical worship at Central church and having found a home I attended Napier University, graduating with a first in Popular Music with a focus on Composition and Production. Having collaboratively created much, I explored further with a solo project. From which I began composing, producing, mixing and mastering for others. Within which I found:

I love getting to partner with artists in creating sweet music with them.

My practise has been shaped by the influences of creatives like Finneas, Mako Fujimura and Jonathon Ogden. With a desire for tracks, like a canvas, to be imagined and carefully crafted brush by brush, bar by bar. You could say I really value:

Quality, Honour and Fun

My ethos of making is deeply formed by my faith and following of Jesus, with a passion for every piece of work to be carried out with great quality, every partnering artist treated with dignity and honour and every creative process approached with freedom, courage and fun.

If you’d like to make some music together, I know you’ll love what we make and how we make it.
